About the Classes

Cheryl teaches a flow style Hatha yoga class that emphasizes the vitality of the fluid body and the balance of lightness and strength in movement. She brings a calm, gentle presence to her teaching and a reverence for the richness of the yoga lineage.

For all skill levels

Classes are based on a mindfulness approach to moving, with awareness and breath as the foundation, integrating the functional and expressive body in the asana practice. Cheryl’s classes are suited to all levels and emphasize strength, flexibility and balance, and moving with calm and ease. Cheryl’s knowledge of injury prevention and attention to precise body alignment underlie her teaching. In her classes you can expect to receive individualized instruction, including use of props, and a safe space to feel supported and empowered to adapt your yoga practice to meet your ability and needs.

Available online 

Classes are offered through Zoom, live and as video recordings. The recordings are available each week, and remain online for a week, so you can participate in yoga in your home, on your own schedule.
